The Nike SB Stefan Janoski Hyperfeel features fresh innovation packaged in a signature skate silhouette.
In skateboarding, boardfeel is essential. The feet drive everything — direction, speed, flick — and the better the connection to the board, the easier it is to control it and, ultimately, land tricks.
For that reason, the Nike SB design team obsesses the relationship between the foot and the board. This focus has inspired the team’s new Hyperfeel concept, which aims to get skaters closer to their boards. Debuting in the Nike SB Koston 3 Hyperfeel and extended through the Nike SB Bruin Hyperfeel, the proposition now arrives in the classic Janoski model.
The Nike SB Stefan Janoski Hyperfeel retains the silhouette’s clean, simple lines but adds improved boardfeel through the introduction of a gusseted tongue, new insole and refined outsole. This fresh innovation improves on three key pillars of skate performance: ride, fit and flick.
The drop-in Nike Lunarlon midsole is thicker for cushioning at the heel and thinner for boardfeel in the forefoot — helping to assist with pop and landing. Flex grooves in the midsole work to enable the natural motion of the skateboarder’s foot.
A hidden gusset in the tongue helps deliver a more natural, sock-like fit, while minimal stitching in the suede upper lends added durability.
The shoe’s thin, web rubber cupsole features a herringbone traction pattern for superior grip. Flex grooves and sidewall texture work to enhance boardfeel and optimize flick.
