Redesigned NIKEiD Web site Debuts

BEAVERTON, Ore. (August 21, 2008) – Nike (NYSE:NKE) today announced the unveiling of its redesigned NIKEiD Web site, www.nikeid.com, offering new design tools, a wider array of customizable product for consumers – including Nike Sportswear and product showcased on the track in Beijing – and an enhanced online experience. The redesign is the most comprehensive since www.nikeid.com launched in 1999.

From Sportswear to Nike Pro apparel to Nike 6.0 to Nike+, consumers can customize nearly every kind of Nike product. Bags, footwear and apparel, including Nike’s product in Beijing like the Nike Zoom Victory+, The Rejuven8 as well as premium Sportswear graphic tees, are online.

“Consumers want to create their own customized Nike products and be able to share with friends,” said Joaquin Hidalgo, Nike Vice President of Global Brand Marketing. “The new site’s wide array of updated, intuitive design functions allows people to create the product their way, anytime, anywhere. It’s a leap forward.”

During Beijing and beyond, consumers can go online to www.nikeid.com and design product to support their country of choice using a wide array of color choices. A new Design Search feature also lets them view other consumers’ designs from around the globe for inspiration. NIKEiD is also available on www.NIKEStore.com and www.NIKESportswear.com sites as well. NIKEiD is available to consumers in the US, China, Japan, and 21 European markets.

The newly updated site, www.nikeid.com, is complemented by NIKEiD.STUDIOS. The NIKEiD.STUDIO is a consumer destination for designing, personalizing and customizing Nike performance and Sportswear footwear, apparel and equipment. Consumers can make an appointment and during a 45-minute private design session enjoy the service of expert help from a NIKEiD Design Consultant. NIKEiD.STUDIOS can be found in Beijing, Shanghai, New York, London, Liverpool, Paris and Osaka. Most recently a new NIKEID.STUDIO opened in “The BootRoom” in NIKETown London. This NIKEiD.STUDIO offers football (soccer) players an unmatched level of performance customization. The site redesign was led by digital advertising agency R/GA.
