Tempe, AZ (15 May, 2006) – NIKE, Inc. today announced the official opening of its Nike Factory Store at the Arizona Mills Outlet Mall in Tempe, AZ.
“Nike is delighted to open our newest Factory Store at the Arizona Mills mall. We’re pleased to be able to create new full-and part-time jobs and, through our community involvement, provide support to kids in the Tempe area,” said Ed Stair, Nike Factory Store General Manager.
To celebrate the grand opening, Nike awarded a $5,000 cash and product grant the Boys and Girls Club of the East Valley – Tempe Branch. “We are excited to receive this grant- not only for how it will help our Club immediately, but also because of the long-term opportunities to partner and collaborate it will give us,” Duenas said. “Thank you for helping us fulfill our mission—preparing youth and teens for a successful adulthood by helping them develop healthy bodies, minds and spirits and healthy self-esteem.”
The more than 13,000 square foot retail outlet will employ 40 full-and part-time staff. The store is located at 5000 S Arizona Mills Circle, Ste 240, Tempe, AZ 85282. (480) 897-1312.
