The legendary grass courts of SW19 present an annual challenge that invites storied champions to showcase their prowess and up-and-coming athletes to announce their arrival. It is the stage upon which Roger Federer and Serena Williams have combined to win 13 titles. It is also the place where Genie Bouchard became the first Canadian woman to reach a Grand Slam singles final and, in that same 2014 tournament, Nick Kyrgios advanced to the quarterfinals in his London debut. Mirroring this established-and-emerging past, the NikeCourt London collection packages innovation in all-white, classic silhouettes that honor the tournament’s timeless tradition.
NikeCourt provides practice apparel that helps athletes prepare for the speed and low bounce angle of grass courts.
Nick Kyrgios: NikeCourt Logo Tee, NikeCourt Gladiator 9” Short, NikeCourt Zoom Vapor 9.5 Tour
Serena Williams: NikeCourt Baseline Tank
Genie Bouchard: NikeCourt Baseline Top, NikeCourt Baseline Short
All-white looks honor the tradition of SW19. The men’s apparel features a range of classic and modern collars, while the women’s team style is updated from a two-piece look to a modern edition of the traditional tennis dress.
Roger Federer: The NikeCourt Advantage RF Polo features a traditional tennis collar, while its underarm gussets are engineered to enable optimal range of motion. Laser-perforated ventilation helps keep Federer cool.
Nick Kyrgios: Highlighted by its blade collar, the NikeCourt Advantage Premier Polo provides a blend of comfort and modern style. Dri-FIT fabric helps keep Kyrgios dry and cool, while underarm gussets are designed to deliver zero-distraction performance.
Serena Williams: The NikeCourt Premier Dress features a mock neck, a new aesthetic for Williams. The racerback design enables optimal range of motion, while the full, pleated skirt connects to her looks from the previous 2016 Grand Slams.
Genie Bouchard: NikeCourt female team athletes will compete in the one-piece NikeCourt Premier Slam Dress, which represents a departure from the skirt-top combinations worn in previous Grand Slams. Despite the traditional aesthetic, the dress features modern design elements such as power pleats and racerback construction, which work in tandem to enable the athlete’s movement.
The London collection’s off-court looks equip NikeCourt athletes for between match moments.
Nick Kyrgios: Offering lightweight coverage, the NikeCourt Bomber Jacket can pack into its left pocket for easy transport.
Genie Bouchard: The NikeCourt Romper employs Nike Tech Hypermesh construction to deliver ventilation and modern shaping. A relaxed fit and jersey lining lends added comfort.
