Nike Announces Partnership with the French National Team

BEAVERTON, Ore. (22 February 2008) – Nike (NYSE:NKE) announced today that starting January 1, 2011, it will be the equipment supplier of the French Football Federation (FFF) until the end of the 2017-2018 season. More specific terms were not disclosed.

The Board of Directors of Umbro, plc had unanimously recommended that shareholders accept the offer. Nike intends to operate Umbro as a stand-alone subsidiary to accelerate the company's current growth strategies.
