Converse Lights Up New Global Headquarters on Boston's Lovejoy Wharf
December 10, 2014
On Wednesday, December 10, CONVERSE, Inc. lit up its new world headquarters on Boston’s Lovejoy Wharf with the official lighting of the Converse sign, which was celebrated by a special pyrotechnic display. Led by Converse President & CEO, Jim Calhoun, the sign lighting marks the company’s upcoming move in spring 2015 to the revitalized Lovejoy Wharf, adjacent to the North End area of the city.
Converse team members gathered to view the Converse sign lighting and brightly colored pyrotechnics illuminate Boston’s skyline. The 200,000-square-foot headquarters, situated between the Leonard P. Zakim Bridge and the Washington Street–Charlestown Bridge, is being transformed into a collaborative workplace that will bring to life the creativity and self-expression that embody the Converse brand.
