From badminton to grass tennis courts, and from college quads to the silver screen, Converse’s court styles travel through time and space with effortless aplomb. The latest in the brand’s lineage of transcendent court shoes, the Jack Purcell Modern, employs new construction methods and inventive materials for added comfort and a sleek, contemporary look.
To introduce this sihouette, Converse will release a limited-edition HTM Converse Jack Purcell Modern sneaker designed by Nike’s legendary HTM team. HTM represents the collaboration between fragment design founder Hiroshi Fujiwara, Nike Vice President of Creative Concepts Tinker Hatfield and NIKE, Inc. President & CEO Mark Parker. An acronym for the first initials of its three contributors, HTM explores new concepts in Nike design, often highlighting the latest technologies and hinting at future applications.
The Converse Jack Purcell Modern HTM sneaker will be available September 8 exclusively at NikeLab retail stores worldwide and NikeLab.com.
