LA Street Culture Shines In The Latest Converse Collaborations

On February 10, Converse celebrates Los Angeles’ divergent approaches to street culture with distinct collaborative collections from Babylon LA, Rokit, RSVP Gallery and CLOT. Through their respective perspectives, each collection is a response to the city and riffs off Converse’s basketball heritage. Additionally, all four focus on a key pop of color on apparel and footwear highlighted by the Chuck 70, Fastbreak and One Star CC.

Babylon

WHO: Babylon
WHAT: Lee Spielman and Garrett Stevenson’s label, Babylon LA, has created a sense of community for Los Angeles youth. Intended to be a cultural center for kids of the skate scene, Babylon continues to push the envelope of the DIY mentality of punk and skateboarding in a welcoming atmosphere.

Rokit

WHAT: Created by Nico Guardalabene, Bam Barcena and Rionism, Rokit exemplifies a clever blend of basketball and skate sensibilities with detail-oriented minimalist tendencies.
