Buccaneers and Rams Unveil Color Rush Uniforms
On Thanksgiving Day, 1965, the NFL ran its first-ever color broadcast of a regular season game, revolutionizing football broadcasting and transforming the way the nation viewed the sport. Fifty years later, Nike and the NFL will recapture the spectacle by highlighting color in a reinvigorated and reimagined way through the new Nike Color Rush uniforms.
Eight NFL teams will unveil their Color Rush uniforms this season, with the full lineup coming by all teams in 2016. The Color Rush uniforms, which are exclusive to Thursday Night Football games, are saturated head-to-toe by one of the respective team’s current or historic primary colors. Participating 2015 teams include the New York Jets (Kelly Green), Buffalo Bills (Red), Tennessee Titans (Titan Blue), Jacksonville Jaguars (Bold), Carolina Panthers (Panthers Blue), Dallas Cowboys (White), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Red) and St. Louis Rams (Yellow Gold).
The Buccaneers and Rams will debut the new Color Rush uniforms during their Week 15 matchup on December 17.
The Cowboys and Panthers will debut new Color Rush uniforms during their Week 12 matchup on Thanksgiving, November 26.
The Titans and Jaguars debuted new Color Rush uniforms during their Week 11 matchup on November 19.
