September 03, 2019 - Tottenham Hotspur’s 2019-20 third kit pays tribute to iconic players of the past by bringing back the famous light blue shade synonymous with the talent that helped carve the way for the club’s future success.
The new kit, which will debut later this month when Spurs' European campaign begins, is light blue from head to toe and features numerous other nods to ’90s jersey culture. An alternating matte/shine jacquard forming a "Spurs" graphic spreads across the front of the shirt, the club crest has an elevated trim and the ’90s vibe is topped up by a Nike Futura logo.
“It’s one of my favorite jerseys for sure, the light blue pops and the retro aesthetic goes down well," says lifelong Spurs fan and prominent UK rap star AJ Tracey, featured in the campaign imagery. "I can’t wait to wear it to the European games, especially this season."
The shirt is framed by a dark blue trim on the sleeves and on the classic-’90s button-down collar. The same dark blue details the shorts and crowns the otherwise light blue socks.
“Everyone will see the retro influence; it’s a tribute to the jersey culture of the 90s,” says Tottenham and England forward Harry Kane. “When you see the light blue, you think of those players that paved the way, and I hope this year we can wear it with pride to go all the way.”

July 21, 2020 - Paris Saint-Germain’s 2020-21 home and away kits mark the club’s 50th anniversary through a celebration of their beloved Hechter stripe.
The singular, broad red stripe, imagined by former club president Daniel Hechter, is at the heart of PSG’s identity, having featured on so many classic jerseys during the past 50 years.
“The Hechter stripe is a special symbol of PSG and I think it is right that we will wear a classic version of it for this important anniversary,” says defender Marquinhos. “It is amazing to think of all the famous kits and the great players to have worn them — now it is time for this team to make its own history while wearing this beautiful design.”
The stripe first appeared in 1973, three years after the formation of the club. The 2020-21 home shirt draws inspiration from that historic early design, and features a thick vertical red stripe outlined in white against a blue background. In a further nod to the ’70s kits, there is an overlapping V-neck collar and ribbed trim on the sleeves.
The phrase, "Paris Saint-Germain 50 Ans," appears on blue tape running down the sides of the torso, while a small Tricolour on the hem of the jersey provides an additional elegant detail. Blue shorts and socks complete the head-to-toe look.
The new away also features a prominent Hechter stripe, this time taking its cue from the white kit worn in the 1995-96 season when Les Parisiens captured a first major European title. The central red stripe is lined with royal blue, the true color of the city of Paris, and sits against white. A classic blue polo collar is fastened by two central buttons and sits above a club crest and an exclusive elevated Swoosh design.
“Together with the club we wanted to celebrate 50 years of football and fashion at PSG and that could only mean the return of a bold Hechter stripe,” says Scott Munson, VP, Nike Football Apparel. “The home kit is a tribute to the foundation of the club and the establishment of its unique style. The away brings back an iconic look from the mid-90s, when PSG made their mark in Europe and wore one of the most memorable jerseys of that era.”
Both kits can be viewed in 3D through the Nike App thanks to the augmented reality feature. The kits can be seen from every angle and customized with player names from the men’s and women’s teams. Users can learn about the history of the club, evolution of the PSG crest, customize their images with personalized backgrounds and share them with friends.

July 20, 2020 - FC Internazionale Milano’s 2020-21 away kit provides an exciting and original take on the club’s traditional style.
After a season of playing in aquamarine, Inter switches back to its familiar white away jerseys, this time accompanied by a new Nerazzurri grid graphic. The graphic represents the community of Milanese people that looks to the future of the city and the Club with an innovative approach.
Building on the themes established by the club’s new home kit, the away is "Made of Milano" too, taking inspiration from the Milanese post-modernist movement, which changed the global face of art and design in the 1980s. “The alternating black and blue lines make for a really fresh interpretation of the club’s typical away look and really reinforces their Nerazzurri identity,” says Scott Munson, VP, Nike Football Apparel.
Inter’s new away jersey has a white base with black and blue lines, forming an all-over grid graphic that covers the front, back and sleeves. The shirt has a blue and black color-blocked V-neck collar that overlaps in the center and at the nape of the neck. White shorts and socks complete the full look, with the word "Inter" appearing on the shin in a post-modernist font.

July 07, 2020 - Building on the theme of the club’s new home look, the Blues’ 2020-21 away colors celebrate the capital’s love affair with the craftsmanship of master tailors. The away kit also adds an injection of millennial swagger — perfect for the confident, emerging talents lighting up Stamford Bridge under head coach Frank Lampard.
“The colors and pattern of the away kit work really well,” says homegrown midfielder Mason Mount. “It looks great and it’s also a nice contrast to the home kit. Hopefully the fans will like it as well and we can push on and make them proud.”
Arctic Blue provides a tasteful base color for the jersey, with darker shades making up a disrupted herringbone knit that covers the front and back of the shirt to create a compelling aesthetic.
A monochromatic club crest filled with a micro-herringbone pattern sits on the chest, alongside a dark blue Nike Swoosh. A dark blue V-neck collar and trim on the sleeves frame the design, while dark blue tape featuring the phrase "The Pride of London" runs down the sides of the torso. Arctic Blue shorts and dark blue socks, with a Swoosh and a Chelsea lion placed midway up the shin, complete the head-to-toe look.
“The new away kit is a great addition to the line-up,” says striker Sam Kerr. “It complements the home kit really well and I just can’t wait to get out on the pitch again wearing it.”
The 2020-21 Chelsea away kit will debut July 7 in the club's Premier League game against Crystal Palace.
July 03, 2020 - Atlético de Madrid’s 2020-21 home kit embodies the lasting values of the club through a classic interpretation of their famous colors.
Los Rojiblancos is a team that backs up elite talent with hard work and determination — traits also shared by Atleti supporters in the stands.
Few clubs enjoy such a strong synergy between team and supporters, and the result is a potent mixture of loyalty and passion.
These same characteristics are reflected in a new 2020-21 home design that celebrates the club’s rich heritage through a traditional collared jersey, capturing the special Rojiblancos spirit in the fiery red vertical stripes.
“This kit has a very classic look to it and it’s nice to have the full collar back for the first time in a while,” says midfielder Saúl Ñiguez.
The traditional red and white stripes cover the front, back and sleeves of the jersey, and are slightly distorted to create a modern feel. A navy blue fold-down collar is fastened by two central buttons, while blue tape runs down the sides of the torso. Navy blue shorts and red socks complete the look, with the word “Atleti” appearing midway up the calf.

July 01, 2020 - Chelsea’s 2020-21 home kit blends the latest in athletic innovation with the finesse of fine London tailoring.
Inspired by London’s long association with master tailors and their exquisite craftsmanship, the Blues’ new home jersey ventures into the realm of statement shirting: a luscious, textured, modern classic, wholly befitting the capital’s most stylish club.
Just as Chelsea is woven into the fabric of London life, the city’s rich fashion heritage is woven into the new shirts, the traditional blue elevated by a subtle all-over herringbone knit and garnished with bespoke flourishes.
“The kit is really, really smart — very Chelsea,” says striker Tammy Abraham. “You can see the story behind the kit with how it looks and all the little touches that remind you of a good suit.”
Chelsea’s new home look is made up of the blue jersey, blue shorts and white socks. The tasteful herringbone pattern covers both the shirt and the shorts, creating a sophisticated, textured effect. The jersey is framed by a deep, dark blue collar and trim on the sleeves. The trim is monogrammed with "CFC."
“I’m really excited to be wearing this kit when we take to the pitch again for the 20-21 season,” says striker Fran Kirby. “Winning the league was an incredible moment for the club and we’ll be proud to be wearing the new kit as champions next season.”
Dark blue tape runs down the sides of the torso and is embossed with the phrase, "The Pride of London." Both the font and the indigo lettering are reminiscent of the labels sewn inside London-crafted suits. White socks, decorated with a Nike Swoosh and a Chelsea lion complete a sharp head-to-toe look.

June 30, 2020 - FC Internazionale Milano’s 2020-21 home kit captures the best of Milanese culture, values and style through a radical interpretation of the club’s traditional colors.
Inspired by the pioneering work of Milanese designers in the 1980s, Inter’s new home kit celebrates the city through a striking aesthetic that symbolizes the shared identity of the club and the people it represents.
“We continue our pursuit of challenging the club’s traditional striped identity, this time drawing inspiration from one of Milan’s most important design movements,” says Nike’s Scott Munson, VP, Nike Football Apparel. “The zigzag graphic is a staple of post-modernist design and is also reminiscent of the slithering Biscione. The result is a radically unexpected home kit.”
The design takes the bold colors and shapes of post-modernism and uses them to reimagine the famous Nerazzurri stripes in a pop style, featuring waves and zigzags. The thick black and blue stripes snake down the front of the jersey in a manner that also references the Biscione, a powerful club symbol.
The new Inter jerseys feature a crew neck collar and black side stripes. A premium crest and white Nike Swoosh sit on the chest. Black shorts and blue socks complete the head-to-toe look. The word "Inter," printed in a post-modern font, appears midway up the shin and also inside the shirt as an inner-pride feature.
May 20, 2020 - For the second year in a row, Nike is creating a unique visual identity for the Portland Thorns FC of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).
The Thorns FC have one of the biggest fan bases in the league, and the 2020-21 home jerseys feature stylized dark roses as homage to the city the team plays for. While on the road, the club's white jersey carries thorn graphics that pull the spirit of the home fans through as metaphorical body armor. Each kit also includes the marker "B.A.O.N." printed on the inner neck, referencing fans' favored literary phrase, "By Any Other Name."
"The fans here in Portland are such an important part of this club," says Portland Thorns FC forward Christine Sinclair. "The fans make being part of the Thorns family unique, so to have our jerseys reflect their support, especially on the away jerseys, they’ll always be with us with the subtle touches on this kit.”

May 13, 2020 - A team of Nike graphic designers spearheaded new uniforms for the Los Angeles Rams, which feature an updated brand identity that was announced by the franchise earlier in March.
“As a design group, we talked with the Rams about the values and themes that they felt were closest to the organization; both the team identity and uniforms were inspired by those conversations,” says Steve McClard, senior design director within Nike Field Sports. “This partnership was unique in that we worked with the Rams to build the identity and the new uniforms simultaneously. It frees our team to design boldly, and we can also tap into a special expertise of ours, which is being true fans of the game.”
The Rams' new wordmarks appears on the jersey chests along with multiple updates to the team graphics and colors, like a modern ram’s horn on the helmet and a more vibrant palette of blue and yellow. The bone jersey will be the first non-traditional white uniform in the league.
The royal jersey features gradient detailing on the chest and down the pant. On the bone jersey, exposed stitching appears on the sleevecap and around the wordmark to add crafted touches.

February 10, 2020 - The Michigan State Spartans men’s basketball program won its second national title in 2000 behind a trio of loyal Flint natives and the leadership of one of college basketball’s most charismatic coaches. The team’s jerseys were immediately recognizable with the Greek-inspired key pattern used as a trim around the neckline, arm sleeves, waistline and the bottom of the shorts. Now, the Spartans are reviving the 20-year anniversary look in a retro uniform.
The school’s proprietary green runs in a stripe down the right side of the jersey and the shorts, ending with the Michigan State “S.” The left leg features the Michigan State helmet logo.
The Spartans will wear the retro uniform during the team's home game February 15. A retail version of the uniforms release February 10 at specialty retailers.
