February 09, 2018 - This special-edition Nike Metcon 4 comes in two complementary colorways to represent how dynamic duos can bring out the best in one another — specifically, workout partners who help each other push through the toughest training moments.

Functional fitness pros, Nike athletes and real-life power couple Lauren Fisher and Rasmus Andersen embody the strength and heart found in a perfect partnership. “Having a relationship with someone not only outside of the gym, but inside of the gym, means that we hold each other accountable and we make sure we stay on track with our goals,” said Fisher.

These training shoes reflect this accountability and interconnectedness through reverse mirror-image detailing (one shoe is black while the other is white, one has a solid Swoosh and the other has a transparent one and so on). Additionally, the purple and yellow accent colors on the heel and eyelets are exact opposites on the color wheel, meaning they perfectly complement each other.

The special-edition Nike Metcon 4 will be available in men’s (black) and women’s (white) sizes February 14 on nike.com and at select retailers.

Custom Denim Fabrics and Unique Washes For These Air Forces

May 10, 2019 - Nike and New York-based pioneering denim house 3x1 share many commonalities. Most obviously, the two have neighboring outposts on Soho's Mercer street. Beyond, 3x1 founder Scott Morrison has been a friend of the Nike brand for almost two decades, a camaraderie based on a shared belief in innovation, personalization and transparency.

In partnership, the two have dedicated attention to two iconic products: the Nike Air Force 1 and the 5-pocket jean. This is realized as a trio of Air Force Ones dressed in different denims — black, stonewash blue or raw indigo.

3x1 has championed selvedge denim since its opening eight years ago, and for the Nike x 3x1 AF1, the company created two fabrics with Japan's renowned Kuroki mill. Both carry a special Bowerman Orange selvedge ID, differentiating this denim from any other and celebrating Nike's co-founder, Bill Bowerman. Unique washes for the fabrics were developed in Los Angeles and from three distinct looks: a light vintage-inspired stonewash with marbling, a medium vintage stonewash with marbling and a washed black. The raw indigo AF1 uses the back-side of the fabric (the lighter weft side) for contrast.

In addition, the left shoe of each colorway exposes the Bowerman Orange via an articulation of 3x1's customary back pocket "selvedge reveal."

The 3x1 collection AF1 is available May 24 on the SNKRS and SNEAKRS apps, from select global Nike retailers and at 3x1, 15 Mercer St, and 3x1denim.com.

Nike SB Zoom Janoski Slip RM "Matriz"

May 08, 2019 - Joining a lineup of new styles that commemorate ten years of the Nike SB Zoom Janoski, this remastered slip arrives in a collaborative colorway with Brazilian skate shop Matriz. A camo print runs beneath the Swoosh and across the heel counter, while the Matriz dog logo rests on the midsole (Both the dog and the Matriz name are inspired by the Porto Alegre plaza where SB team rider Luan Oliveira skated as kids).

The Nike SB Zoom Janoski Slip RM "Matriz" releases in unisex sizing May 11 at Matriz shops and May 18 on nike.com.

Nike SB Zoom Janoski RM “Violent Femmes”

May 03, 2019 - Milwaukee folk punk band Violent Femmes has revived its fervent fandom since the group reunited in 2013. Among those fans is skateboarder Stefan Janoski, who’s releasing a special-edition shoe.

“Violent” and “Femmes” are separately chain-stitched on the lateral side of each shoe and the words from their hit 1994 song “I’m Nothing” — which Janoski sings with the band on a version that will re-release with the forthcoming album — are printed in Janoski’s handwriting on the tongue.

The Nike SB Zoom Janoski “Violent Femmes” releases in fall 2019.

May 03, 2019 - An OG colorway from 2009, the Nike Zoom Kobe IV Protro "White/Black Del Sol" releases May 24 on SNKRS in North America.

May 03, 2019 - This exclusive colorway of the Nike P-6000 captures the local energy of Copenhagen's female-focused sneaker boutique Naked. Inspiration from the Danish city's underground techno scene is expressed via distinct volt-yellow overlays. The silhouette also delivers on Copenhagen's stylish retro tech vibes by incorporating elements of the Nike Air Pegasus 2006.

On top, the shoe comes in reflective synthetic leather and a two-tone mesh upper, complete with that on-trend volt pop. On the bottom, a waffle outsole brings vintage flavor to the model.

The shoe will re-release May 7 via the SNEAKRS apps in Europe.
