April 18, 2017 - This is the Nike Zoom Vaporfly 4%, the shoe that crossed the finish line first in Boston yesterday — twice. Nike athletes Geoffrey Kirui, Galen Rupp and Suguru Osako took first, second and third in the men’s elite field, while Edna Kiplagat earned first and Jordan Hasay nabbed third in the women’s race all wearing versions of this shoe.

The Zoom Vaporfly 4% pairs a Nike ZoomX midsole (for responsive cushioning) with a full-length carbon plate (intended to minimize energy loss during toe bend without increasing demand for the calf). Together, these features can make runners up to four percent more efficient than Nike’s previous fastest marathon shoe.

The Nike Zoom Vaporfly 4% will be available June 8 on nike.com and at select retailers.

May 05, 2017 - Originally inspired by the foldable design of a paper bag, the first Nike City Knife shoe, released in 2002, had similarly foldable creases for flattened packability. Before it came the Pocket Knife, from 1998, a collapsible ACG shoe embraced by outdoor athletes.

Today, the new NikeLab City Knife 3 Flyknit draws from the versatility of both models, providing a breathable, sock-like fit through a one-piece, 360 Flyknit upper that's encapsulated in a translucent rubber outsole (sharp lines on the outsole reference the geometry of the original). A rubber strap keeps the foot locked down. The shoe's minimal design — made of only five pieces without any stitching — enables it to flatten easily.

The NikeLab City Knife 3 Flyknit is available May 11, in women's sizing, on Nike+, nike.com/nikelab and at select retailers. It comes with a special travel bag.

May 03, 2017 - This KYRIE 3 PE and its lightning graphic take inspiration from one of Kyrie Irving's favorite musicals, also a film, and its lead character, Danny Zuko's, car. Irving's interest in theater began as a kid (while performing in school productions) and continues today.

May 03, 2017 - “If you were watching College Basketball in the early ‘90s, the Fab Five stuck with you. They brought a new style of play. They had swagger to their game that I hadn’t seen at the college level before. They became one of the most iconic teams in college sports. I wanted to create a special shoe that celebrated that team and marks the start of a new era for the teams at the Jordan Brand and the University of Michigan,” says Tinker Hatfield, VP of Design & Special Projects.

Hatfield chose the iconic Jordan V as his canvas to celebrate the past and look to the future. The suede Maize upper creates a striking new look to the familiar V silhouette.

Two other classic Michigan references feature on the all-black tongue with the ‘M” embroidered front, and “Hail To” and “The Victors” stitched on the inside of the left and right tongues respectively.

On the back heel features a specially created logo that depicts a graphic created by Hatfield that represents the ‘five times’ sign that the team occasionally used during their time at the school.

This execution of the Jordan V, a gift from Hatfield to the friends and family of the Jordan Brand will not be available at retail.
