March 11, 2019 - Nike Women’s summer footwear offering covers a variety of platforms — from classics like the Air Force 1 to the future-forward Air Max 720. Sharp focus on sustainable manufacturing and unisex sizing results in meeting a range of preferences.
Georgina James, Senior Creative Director for Nike Women’s Footwear, shares her thoughts on five highlights from the collection:
- The Nike ZoomX Vista Grind builds off bold and exaggerated features around the midsole.
- The Nike Air Max FF720 takes one of our key innovation platforms, the 720 Air Max bag, and gives it women’s-specific stance with a new upper design, midsole and outsole.
- The Nike VaporMax 2 Random is our big sustainability stand. The VaporMax is a shoe that our female consumer resonates with, so the fact that the Air-Sole is 75 percent recycled is a double-win.
- The Nike Air Max Box takes our Air Max 270 platform and creates a shoe that gives the wearer comfort and stability for boxing workouts.
- The Nike Air VaporMax Flyknit 2 LXX Swarovski is a show-stopper. The fact that we’ve had people inquire about wearing it during awards shows is an example of how this shoe is moving sneaker culture forward.

The shoes will be available through summer 2019.
April 18, 2019 - Both of these women's exclusive colorways of the Air Max 720 release April 18 on nike.com
April 11, 2019 - Debuted on a London runway last fall and first released in February, the Converse x JW Anderson Run Hike has enjoyed instant interest due to its sleek combination of past and present aesthetics. The mash-up silhouette is now realized in black.
The Converse x JW Anderson Grid — a staple since the beginning of this partnership —returns with a split application of the archival American Flag print. Introduced in 1991, this graphic appears again on a Chuck 70 canvas. This time it is enhanced by a JWA brand monogram grid base.
Both shoes release April 18.
April 10, 2019 - Debuted in 1989 as a direct descendent of the 1982's Air Escape, the Nike Air Wildwood ACG might have been designed as an off-road runner but it quickly gained a reputation as a go-anywhere staple sneaker. Rugged details, punctuated by its sawtooth Waffle sole, and pops of bold color grant discernible personality to the modest silhouette — just enough to command attention, but never demand it.
Fun fact: Portland, Oregon's, Wildwood trail, the shoe's namesake, stretches 30 miles and is regularly listed among America's best running routes.
The latest colorways of the ACG Air Wildwood launch April 20.
April 09, 2019 - Two running shoes, including a new colorway of the marathon-dominating Nike Vaporfly 4% Flyknit, celebrate London's upcoming 26.2.
The Nike Zoom Pegasus 35 Turbo Mo, shown second, the beloved British distance runner Mo Farah with a nod to his famous MoBot trademark (on the tongue label) and rich history of victories (via the gold Union Jack flag on the heels).
The Nike Vaporfly 4% Flyknit will release April 9, while the Nike Zoom Pegasus 35 Turbo Mo will be available April 16 on nike.com.
April 05, 2019 - Inspired by LeBron's love for a hit '90s sitcom, the LEBRON 16 "Martin" features a design reminiscent of the show's lively introduction and memorable catch phrases on the heel counter.
The LEBRON 16 "Martin," which he debuted during an April 5 regular-season game against the Los Angeles Clippers, releases globally beginning April 16 on the SNKRS app and at select retailers.
April 04, 2019 - Celebrating her 100th career goal with the U.S. Women's National Team (scored during her match against Australia), Nike is awarding striker Alex Morgan with a special-edition PhantomVNM boot.
The color palette is a sophisticated floral take on her national team colors, enclosing a tonal American flag on a platinum Swoosh. Text on the graphic overlay connects her boot to silhouettes past and present: The number 100 appears in the iconic T90 font, a nod to one of Morgan’s all-time favorite boots, while her name is emblazoned in PhantomVNM type. The date and coordinates next to the strike zone represent her first international goal scored on October 6, 2010, in Chester, Pennsylvania.
These special-edition PhantomVNM boots will be limited to 100 units available for purchase in North America.
March 31, 2019 - Air Jordan XIV White/Red
Celebrating the 20-year anniversary of the Air Jordan XIV, a classic colorway returns in true OG form. The silhouette, inspired by luxury sports car styling, has been produced as a stitch-for-stitch replica. The April 6 release also comes with original packaging and signature hangtags.
Air Jordan XIII Cap and Gown
For years, the Jumpman community has celebrated milestones in their favorite Air Jordans. Following last year's Cap and Gown AJXI, the AJXIII is dressed in a patent leather upper and dark translucent outsole with metal emblem and tassel-inspired laces. The shoe release April 27.
Air Jordan VII Ray Allen
Hall of Famer Ray Allen has one of the most storied Jordan PE collections in history. To celebrate the 23rd anniversary of his draft, a special colorway of the Air Jordan VII that brings together two of Allen’s PEs from his time in Milwaukee will release June 1.
Air Jordan Reflections of a Champion Collection
Wrapped in reflective material, this capsule includes the shoes MJ wore during his first three championships: The Air Jordan VI, VII and VIII. Each releases separately on June 8.
Air Jordan IV Flyknit Collection
The Air Jordan IV gets a bold Flyknit makeover via four distinct flooded colorways: Game Royal, Orange, University Red and Volt. As part of the silhouette’s 30th anniversary, the Air Jordan IV Flyknit collection launches June 14, with each colorway releasing exclusively in a specific geography.
Air Jordan XIV University Gold/Black/University Red
MJ’s love for Italian sports cars has served as inspiration for many of his sneaker designs and this colorway matches one of the most famous of these, the AJXIV, with a flashy new finish. The shoe releases June 22.
March 27, 2019 - In its second iteration, the versatile training shoe will be available in men’s and women’s sizes (shown). With a flexible Nike Free outsole and some of the stability of Nike Metcon, the shoe is built to take on everything from a short run to a studio class to free weights and kettlebells.
New to the 2: a larger durable TPU strap (it’s integrated with the laces) that wraps the midfoot and heel to provide extra lock-in when needed; a bootie construction with a pull tab for more ankle support; the midsole is made up of a firmer foam than the previous version, which adds a little more stability for lifting.
The Nike Free x Metcon 2 will be available for NikePlus members March 28 then globally on April 4.
March 25, 2019 - For more than 20 years, the iconic Nike Mercurial has embodied explosive speed through color and design. This new special edition features different elements found on some of the boldest Mercurial boots made in the past decade.
A tonal, reflective white-on-white safari print envelopes the entire boot, inspired by the Nike Air Safari running shoe introduced in 1987 and seen on a Mercurial boot for the first time in 2010. The heritage of this print is also reflected on the black-on-black Swoosh.
A combination of safari, silverware, cheetah, galaxy, gold and lava-inspired patterns are blended with neon hues, metallics and volt to form a distinctive color stripe that honors Mercurial’s rich style heritage. The vibrant multicolor band wraps the forefoot and flows from the underfoot to the heel. The graphic is also displayed uniformly atop the tongue.
The Nike Mercurial 360 LVL UP will be available March 31 on nike.com.
