Nike SB Zoom Blazer Mid Lance Mountain
August 10, 2017 - Lance Mountain first laid eyes on the Nike Blazer not in person, but in the pages of skateboard magazines. “In ’78, the Blazer started showing up a lot,” he recalls. “A lot of top pro guys at that time were wearing the Blazer. That's how I first saw it. It was always on my radar — part of my youth. When I got on Nike, I went straight to that shoe.”
The Nike SB Zoom Blazer Mid Lance Mountain honors the legendary skater’s affinity for pool skating, as well as his fondness for a silhouette he lusted after in childhood and earned as a pro. The color scheme reflects a common conceit in Mountain’s skate graphics — ‘70s-era prism-fades on concert posters — and the tiles from Mountain’s favored skate environment, pools.
“Pool skating is the street skating of vert. Instantly in the ‘70s, pools were mimicked in skate parks. And so the level of skateboarding grew from a backyard pool to a skate park pool, and then over the years they have refined and gotten bigger and bigger,” explains Mountain. “I skate pools. That’s where I skate. In the last 10 years, I’ve rarely skated other things.”
Fittingly, the Nike SB Zoom Blazer Mid Lance Mountain’s graphic embellishments nod to the continuity of Mountain’s fanaticism for pools. The heel has a tile treatment, and within it features a tile-like debossing, with “78” referencing the year Mountain first remembers seeing the Blazer regularly in skate mags. The right shoe reads "17" to represent both the present day and a nod to the future.
It's available starting August 17 on Nike+ SNKRS, nike.com and at select retailers.
Converse Run Star
September 18, 2018 - Converse's newest silhouette, the Run Star, juxtaposes heritage running style with exaggerated tooling. Taking cues from classic Converse styles, the result is a contemporary look designed to be distorted. (The upper, for example, is ripe for remixing — as JW Anderson has already proved during his Spring 2019 London runway show). What will remain constant is the Run Star's hallmark feature: An unapologetic, big and bold EVA midsole finished with a rubber heel wrap and instantly recognizable Star.
The shoe, in its first public incarnation, is available now at converse.com.

Converse x Carhartt WIP One Star Collection
September 17, 2018 - Since 1989, Carhartt Work In Progress has been carefully adapting and modifying Carhartt's iconic workwear products for an audience that values refined design and detailing, while still remaining true to the brand’s origins.
The Converse x Carhartt WIP One Star collection applies this same approach by preparing the silhouette with a Cordura® fabric upper that is robustly functional and considerate to the original design. Embellishments include a tongue logo patch made from the coated tarp-like material seen on the trailer coverings of long-distance trucks, and hangtag and D-ring hardware details at the heel.
The collection, which includes classic black, olive and white colorways, launches September 20 on converse.com, carhartt-wip.com and select retailers.
Nike Mercurial Cleat (Odell Beckham Jr. Special Edition)
September 16, 2018 - The second of Odell Beckham Jr.'s pregame cleats for the 2018-2019 season, the Nike Mercurial Cleat (Odell Beckham Jr. Special Edition) honors Brazilian soccer legend Ronaldo.
The flood-red colorway features an upper inspired by the Nike Mercurial boot worn by Ronaldo on the game's biggest stage in 1998, when the world saw the rise of one of football's most prolific offensive talents. The cleat's lightweight traction plate — a technological breakthrough that Nike advanced with the Mercurial — gets a modern upgrade with a Nike carbon fiber plate.
The Nike Mercurial Cleat (Odell Beckham Jr. Special Edition) will be worn by OBJ during pregame of the New York Giants’ September 16 away game against the Dallas Cowboys.
The Nike Cortez Gets a Sustainable Upgrade
September 14, 2018 - One of Nike's most historic running models, the Cortez, is the second silhouette, following the Tennis Classic, to get a full-scale release in Nike's innovative Flyleather — a sustainable material that is made with at least 50 percent leather fiber. Flyleather is lighter, more durable and has a lower carbon footprint than traditional leather; the mindful take on the Cortez also uses less water in manufacture than traditional leather builds and features 100 percent recycled lining, laces and labeling.
The Nike Flyleather Cortez is available now in a White/Light Silver-White colorway from the SNKRS and SNEAKRS apps and at select retailers.
Nike Tech Challenge II Cleat
September 09, 2018 - The first in a season line of pregame cleats for Odell Beckham Jr that honor legendary Nike athletes who inspire him, the Nike Tech Challenge II Cleat is a nod to tennis great Andre Agassi.
Beckham Jr.’s electric style of play complements the flood red, cleated iteration of the Nike Tech Challenge II silhouette. The cleat features other details that declare a confident aesthetic, such as the denim material (Agassi was known for wearing washed denim shorts during play in New York City) and an OBJ-titled Nike Swoosh on the tongue.
The Nike Tech Challenge II Cleat will appear during pregame of the New York Giants’ September 9 home game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Special Edition Hypervenom 3 for Harry Kane
September 07, 2018 - After leading England to a semifinal match in Russia and distinguishing himself as the top goal-scorer in the tournament, Nike will honor forward Harry Kane with a special-edition golden Hypervenom 3 boot.
A tonal St. George’s Cross flag appears on the premium golden boot, along with the England National Team badge. Printed on its instep are symbolic words, such as "Lion" and "Leader," that succinctly describe Kane’s rise from his first club, Ridgeway Rovers.
“From our ground here, you can see the cranes going to work at Tottenham Hotspur on the new stadium,” says Ian Marshall, chairman of Ridgeway Rovers. “From here to Spurs, and doing what he did at the World Cup, it’s inspiring, and we couldn’t be more proud [of him].”
Kane will wear the boot upon his international return in September when England faces Spain.
How to Get the Nike Air Max Deluxe SK
September 01, 2018 - For the third of his Nike Air Max collaborations, the Nike Air Max SK Air, Skepta pays tribute to New York’s role in his career trajectory as an artist and rapper.
Following the June 8, 2014 release of the breakout single "That's Not Me," New York City became a crucial jump-off point in Skepta's push to propel the grime music genre from local London sound to global phenomenon. The Nike Air Max Deluxe SK encapsulates his relationship to the city — where he is embraced with open arms in the five boroughs by fans, friends and family — and serves as a reminder of his emergence.
This shoe's reinterpretation of the iconic 1999 Nike Air Max Deluxe (known for its bold printed uppers) features design details inspired by the insomnia of long nights on the road. The medial side of the shoe reads "NEVER SLEEP ON TOUR," an ethos that has fueled Skepta’s work rate. The upper pattern draws from the VHS static-led aesthetic found in the award-winning video for "That’s Not Me." In a final nod, that single’s release date is printed on the shoe's lateral side.
The Nike Air Max Deluxe SK is available beginning September 8 on the SNEAKRS app. Additional pairs will be available in North America at NikeLab 21 Mercer, Concepts, Dover Street Market and KITH. The Nike Air Max Deluxe SK will also release at select European retailers.

Nike Air Presto Mid x ACRONYM®
August 30, 2018 - First released in 2016, the Acronym x Nike Air Presto Mid echos designer Errolson Hugh's utility-focused ethos. The zippered collar allows for easy on-off functionality, while the classic mesh upper and midfoot overlays evolve the support structure of the original 2000 Presto.
For the second trio of Acronym x Nike Air Presto Mid releases, Hugh pulls a bold tech-inspired color and graphic scheme. This gives the silhouette a new twist, and one connected to the current "visual projects" Hugh is undertaking by twisting his brand's signature "A" into a camouflage pattern (similar to what was employed on the recent VaporMax Moc 2 x ACRONYM®).
The shoe releases in three colorways — Cool Grey/Black, White Dynamic Yellow/Black, and Racer Pink with Photo Blue/White/Black — on September 20.
