January 06, 2021 - Since its inception in 1985, the Nike Dunk has united successive generations in defiant spirit. Whether symbolic of a basketball team, art movement or metal band, the opportunity for self-expression rooted in collective cultural identity has defined the model. In 2021, the Dunk's legacy continues with new colorways and, undoubtedly, new adventures.
The first three arrive in January for the Dunk Low — black/white, red/grey and sail/coast — and will bring new perspective to the Dunk's iconic color-blocking. The black/white comes in men, women and kid's sizes; red/grey in men and kid's sizes; sail/coast will be available exclusively in women's sizing. Release begins January 4 in Greater China, followed by a January 14 launch throughout Asia-Pacific and Latin America. In Europe, the red/grey and sail/coast colorways release January 14. The black/white will follow a week later, on January 21. The North America launch continues in spring 2021.
Additionally, the Dunk Low black/hyper cobalt releases February 11 in men and kid's sizes, alongside the sail/orange peel in women and kid's sizes. The Dunk High white/orange blaze comes March 5 in men, women and kid's sizes.

November 24, 2019 - Odell Beckham Jr. will lace up in Week 12 pregame cleats influenced by the LeBron 8 South Beach straight from the 2010 vault. Inspired by the wide receiver’s favorite Nike shoes, this week’s iteration of the Nike Vapor Untouchable Pro 3 OBJ Uptempo Cleat employs Miami vibes with a teal, pink and black colorway.
The pregame cleat hits the field November 24 ahead of the Cleveland Browns’ away game against the Miami Dolphins.
November 21, 2019 - The tooling from the Nike Joyride NSW Setter (the "muscle car" of the Joyride family) offers a plush three-pod cushioning system. However, its upper, while tough, isn't designed for quickly taking on and off, which can be difficult when attending dinner parties at shoes-off apartments or trying to navigate dressing rooms at packed sample sales. ISPA answers for these peculiarities of urban life, and the Nike ISPA Joyride Envelope explicitly adapts the Joyride NSW Setter for easy on, easy off use.
To do this, the shoe is crafted with a unique folding upper. It is, at base, a bit like a bag. Open it up, slide in. The upper can then close in either direction (one side is perforated for breathability on warmer days). An external strap adds stability, but doesn't shortchange speed. In short, it's like going from a regular hinged door to a gull-wing.

November 21, 2019 - Drew Henderson's barbershop, No Cuts No Glory, is representative of Chicago's de facto meeting places. Within the barbershop, sports, politics and more are debated. Preparations for celebrations are made. And, most important, bonds are forged across the community.
Henderson and his shop are also inspiration for the latest Chicago-specific Air Force 1, the AF-1 ALL FOR 1 – CHICAGO. The shoe incorporates a series of graphic and material elements that celebrate the barbershop, from a specially created tongue tag that transitions Chicago's skyline into the silhouette of a comb, to aglets based on traditional barber poles (but with an added Chicago-flag twist). On the heel, a pony-hair tab reminds of the daily hair cuts in the shop, while an inner graphic of two hands celebrates unity.
"“It means so much to me to be involved with the production of a shoe that represents some of the most important things in my life: Chicago, the barbershop and the community. It is an honor to shine a spotlight on the city, industry and community that made me who I am and motivate me every day. I share this with all of them,” says Henderson.
Creative tweaks to the AF1 design have also been made specifically for barber shop use:
1. Rolled edges make it easier for hair to be removed (there’s no exposed seams to get stuck on)
2. Wax laces ensure that fallen hair doesn’t get trapped
3. A specially designed ice-rubber sole features a black/white diamond pattern in an ode to classic barbershop flooring

November 21, 2019 - South Central LA artist Lauren Halsey knows what it means to create with authenticity. Halsey is hailed in her community for combining vibrant elements of found, fabricated and handmade objects from around the city to build densely textured installations and monuments. Her sculptures are inscribed with sentiments from the LA community, aimed at authentically and poetically rewriting the narrative on both a local and global stage.
Halsey and her artwork are also inspiration for the latest Los Angeles–specific Air Force 1, the AF-1 ALL FOR 1 – Los Angeles. Employing Halsey’s signature style, which is deeply rooted in the South Central neighborhood she grew up in, she funkatizes the insole with a kaleidoscope of visuals, adorned in red and green accents, interchangeable straps and inscribed with words of love.
The shoe remixes the Triple Black High into an ode to Los Angeles, celebrating the ones who cultivate community through creativity. Inspired by colors, familiar typographic design and iconic posters plastered around the city, Halsey’s collection is a visual and tangible tale of South Central LA. The shoe’s tongue tag is woven in with block text true to posters seen across the city for decades, its sockliner has a collage of South LA storefronts and it features dubrae with hand-lettered screen printing in font similar to Halsey’s Hieroglyph Crenshaw Project — a public installation of hieroglyphic carvings that allows communities in South Central LA to author their own stories.
“We all should move, create and act with the conceit of love in our hearts,” says Halsey. “Love means family. It means my friends. It means my girlfriend. When I work and when I build I think about who I can involve so that the projects are centered around love from beginning to end.”

November 19, 2019 - The end of the year marks Ekiden Season, highlighted by thousands of high school, university and pro teams competing in intranational road-racing relays. The country’s most-watched annual sporting event starts in October and lasts through the new year. The event’s massive fandom serves as the colorway inspiration for the Ekiden Zoom Pack, featuring five members of the Zoom family.
The colorways are pulled from the scaled teals of Japanese bullet trains, highlighting a nation on the move during the relay exchanges of the race, and following its path toward this summer’s premier sporting event in 2020.
The Ekiden Zoom Pack will be released on December 3 in Japan and January 2 globally.

November 18, 2019 - Since its first release in 2001, the cool Air Jordan XI has been one of the silhouette's most coveted colorways. It was spotted initially on the greens in 2015, and now the renowned colorway has an official debut in the Air Jordan XI Golf.
The shoe releases November 22 on nike.com and at select retailers.
November 18, 2019 - Converse has teamed up with PLEASURES, an LA-based brand known for irreverent graphics, to introduce a new side of the Converse Pro Leather. The collection emphasizes the silhouette as a vehicle for print, with black and white graphics protected by an outer transparent layer. Using Tyvek as the base layer, the graphics have a crinkled aesthetic that wears down over time, so each silhouette boasts its own unique, broken-in look.
“It’s a classic shoe and few have really tapped it creatively, so we’re excited to add the PLEASURES design aesthetic to the DNA of Converse, giving our fans their own version of the silhouette, while attracting some new ones along the way,” says Alex James, PLEASURES co-founder.

November 17, 2019 - For James Whitner, the common directive found on luxury clothing labels, “Hand Wash Cold,” is more than just an instruction for care. Whitner’s A Ma Maniére boutiques, in Atlanta, Houston and Washington, D.C., channel their namesake — which translates from French to "my way" — as ethos, a reminder to treat the things you care about with an unwavering respect. This materializes in the stores and the related community work and experience at each location, and also in the new Nike Air Force 1 A Ma Maniére “Hand Wash Cold.”
“The shoe tells a story of giving and giving back," says Whitner. “Everything luxury should be taken care of, and lives in communities are delicate.”
At A Ma Maniére there is emphasis on creating change in each location's adjacent community. For example, in D.C., where the boutique also houses a boutique hotel, support is granted to child homelessness causes. A restaurant highlights the Houston store, and the local beneficiary is a food bank. In each, Whitner wants to balance aspiration with action.
“What we do is all about youth culture and experiences," he says. "You always have to connect with the kids. If you aren't, you are not rooted in the culture."
The Nike Air Force 1 has been a constant in Whitner’s rotation, understood for its duality as both an aspirational product and streetwear staple.
“The AF1 was our choice of shoe before we found luxury. We have to put a luxury expression on it, but do it in a way that feels uniquely ours. I wanted the shoe to look like it fits next to the brands in A Ma Maniére, but still feels natural and true to Air Force 1,” says Whitner.
A suede wrap to the midsole, along with other high-touch accents, makes the AF1 A Ma Maniére, the experiences Whitner promotes balanced in the silhouette's democratic base and its symbolic veneering.
The AF1 A Ma Maniére releases in both high and low versions. Each respective pair is individually numbered (out of 5914 for the High and 5269 for the low), for, as Whitner notes, "transparency and collectablilty." Both high and low release December 7 at all A Ma Maniére locations and on SNKRS in North America.

November 14, 2019 - Converse's flagship performance basketball shoe, the All Star Pro BB, gets an energetic update inspired by Phoenix Suns' small forward Kelly Oubre, Jr.
Worn by Oubre November 14, the shoe's upper features an emblazoned flames graphic and is embellished by classic Converse branding — a contrasting black Star Chevron and All Star patch — on the medial side.
The Converse All Star Pro BB “Flames” is available in North America and will release November 15 in Europe.
