November 16, 2020 - Jordan Brand opens the new year with its Spring 2021 Retro Footwear Collection. The assortment introduces three new women’s exclusives (including the first women’s iteration of the Air Jordan IX) and fresh iterations of the Air Jordan I, IV and V, amongst others.
Women’s Air Jordan IX
This exclusive model marks the first time Jordan Brand has introduced the Air Jordan IX to its women’s line. The Air Jordan IX, which was originally released during MJ’s first retirement from basketball, tells an international story that uses the shoes’ outsoles as its canvas. Through distinct global graphics and words in different languages, the shoe illustrates MJ’s impact and influence around the world. That sentiment lives on today, evidenced in this women’s exclusive model which features the phrase “Change the World” on the heel loop. The shoe also employs unique color schemes on both shoes using vegetable-tanned materials and natural plant-based dyes.
Women’s Air Jordan I HI OG
This women’s release offers a twist on the Air Jordan I Gold Toe, switching out the patent gold from that model for “crinkle” silver — inspired by space innovation and the future of flight. The shoe’s color blocking balances genuine black leather overlays on the toe, tongue and collar, a white quarter panel and midsole, and crinkle silver details on the ankle, heel and toe box. This model comes in extended sizing (women's 5 up to women’s 16.5/ men's 3.5 up to men’s 15).
Air Jordan I Retro HI OG
Familiar colors applied with a fresh color-blocking scheme characterize this Air Jordan I Retro HI OG. The shoe brings genuine University Blue leather to the ankle, heel, toe and outsole, black on the Swoosh and collar and contrasts it with a white quarter panel, midsole, tongue and toe box. A black Wings logo with University Blue branding on the tongue finish off the model’s clean and classic detailing.
Air Jordan I Retro HI OG
This new take on the classic Air Jordan I Retro HI OG takes inspiration from various design cues used in previous Air Jordan I models. Foldable eyelet-flaps, exposed foam on the tongue with a reversed tongue tag and tri-tonal color-blocking of Volt, University Gold and Sail simultaneously pay homage to iterations of the past while creating a new execution of the model.
Air Jordan III Retro
Re-releasing for the first time since 2007, this Air Jordan III Retro returns with true-to-form coloring and upgraded materials. With hits of Sport Red and Orange Peel on the tongue, eyelets, Air bag and heel tab, the upgraded construction features a genuine leather upper, matte-finished midsole and elephant print overlays on the forefoot and heel. This retro arrives in a full family offering.
Women’s Air Jordan IV
Another women’s exclusive, inspiration from space exploration showcases the strength and beauty of the technical materials used in spacesuits across this Air Jordan IV. The upper is made of a black and Starfish Orange metallic mesh and is complemented by matte TPU heel tabs and wings. Black mesh netting on the quarter panel and tongue bottom lead up to a raw-edge construction on the tongue upper exposing the foam material underneath. Hits of orange on the toe and heel of the rubber outsole complete the look.
Air Jordan IV Retro
With University Blue genuine suede leather upper, this new rendition of the Air Jordan IV combines premium materials with a classic Jumpman color scheme. The shoe’s construction features OG mesh netting on the quarter panel and tongue bottom with recognizable cement splatter on the midsole, heel tabs and wings and is completed by a woven jock tag on the tongue. This model comes in new packaging and is available in men’s and grade school sizing.
Air Jordan V Retro
An evolution of the Air Jordan V Stealth, which originally released in 2006, this model puts a fresh twist on the familiar colorway. An all-white genuine leather upper with the OG silver reflective tongue are accented by black on the midsole with a blue splatter finish and blue on the lace toggle and sockliner. The shoe, which comes with new packaging, releases in full family sizing.
Air Jordan V Retro
Celebrating the iconic textural elements of the Air Jordan V in new places, this reconstructed and reconfigured iteration sees the OG reflective material typically found on the tongue upper now on the quarter panel and tongue bottom. This installment, releasing in men’s and grade school sizing, mixes suede leather, textiles and translucence in new ways while also maintaining OG details like the hallmark “23” branding on the heel and splatter finish on the midsole.
Air Jordan IX Retro
Taking a more subtle approach to the Air Jordan IX, this rendition pairs subdued tones of black and charcoal on genuine nubuck leather with pops of University Gold throughout the sockliner and branding on the midsole, tongue and heel. The model maintains an OG construction and is available in a full family offering.
Air Jordan XIII Retro
Incorporating classic Starfish Orange — a color rooted in recent Jordan Brand history — this take on the Air Jordan XIII sits an OG genuine quilted leather upper atop the familiar panther paw-like outsole. Complete with the holographic cat’s eye along with a carbon fiber shank plate, this retro comes with OG packaging and releases in full family sizing.
Models from the Jordan Brand Spring 2021 Retro Collection will be available in January on SNKRS.

May 22, 2020 - With the Nike x Travis Scott Air Max 270 “Cactus Trails,” design allows for imaginative time travel. A ’90s attitude come through in trail tans and ACG color pops and gives the shoe a vintage appeal, while the well-worn look conveys a back-from-the-future sensibility.
The color schemes also connect to Scott’s own affinity for vintage apparel. Material selection, including a polar fleece collar, further relays an outdoor connection, while oxidation of the upper, midsole and Air unit, achieved through a tint Sulphur dye, helps celebrate the beauty of a well-loved object’s patina. Additional details include a custom tongue-tab, lace-lock and an extra Swoosh on the toe.
The Nike x Travis Scott Air Max 270 “Cactus Trails” releases May 29 in adult, preschool and toddler versions. The latter two introduce a unique take on the design, complete with reverse Swoosh, just for kids, a first in Nike x Travis Scott collaborations.
Additionally, an apparel collection including a hoodie, sweatpants and T-shirt extend Scott’s interest in uniting sportswear comfort with utilitarian multi-pocket function. Download hi-res images here.

The Latest AF1 PRM and AM90 PRM Change With Your Movement

May 21, 2020 - Integrating a brush-off leather upper, the Air Force 1 PRM and Air Max 90 PRM are inspired by fanatics who root for their favorite clubs from anywhere. Team colors transform from home to away (and vice versa) based upon the unique wear patterns of the wearer.
Both silhouettes come in three colors and incorporate compasses on the tongues and hang tags. Jewel Swooshes are featured too; the pack marks the second time that an Air Max 90 has had one (they first appeared in the BSMNT Air Max 90 FA19 City Pack).
The Air Force 1 PRM and Air Max 90 PRM release June 6 on nike.com, the Nike App and select retailers.

May 21, 2020 - Expanding the Converse Renew program, the Converse x Carhartt WIP Renew Chuck 70 uses single-source upcycled textiles from the famed work garment brand.
One thousand pre-owned canvas Carhartt work jackets, trousers and overalls, sourced from UK–based fashion and vintage retailer, Beyond Retro, were sorted into three color ranges and then cut to create individual Chuck 70 shoe panels.
The tri-panel execution on each pair highlights stitching details characteristic of the Carhartt WIP brand. Including the Converse x Carhartt WIP Renew Chuck 70, the Converse Renew program has diverted more than 108,000 textile items from landfills.
The collection will be available in limited quantities at converse.com, carhartt-wip.com and select retailers May 28.

May 15, 2020 - The LEBRON XVII Graffiti mashes together design cues from the memorable colorway of the LEBRON IV — one of the most underrated silhouettes in his line, according to James — and the durable support of the XVII's Knitposite upper. The familiar graffiti-style script is back, highlighting the city in which the colorway debuted during a pop-up event in 2006.
"I think the IVs were before their time," says James. "The full-length Zoom unit, the Foamposite — that silhouette was crazy. It looked so different from the earlier three shoes in the line, and wearing them right before that title run in 2007 made them that much more memorable."
Update: The LEBRON XVII Graffiti releases June 23 on nike.com and SNKRS.

May 15, 2020 - The summer collab between Nike SB and Ben & Jerry’s riffs off the Vermontian ice cream company’s delightful pint packaging. The outsole mimics the green hillside seen on the container, where cows dance in the foreground; the shoe’s leather overlays feature a hairy cow faux-print. Puffy clouds form on the heel behind a Nike wordmark in Ben & Jerry’s font. There’s tie-dye on the lining and sockliner. Finishing off the look is a drippy swoosh in the B&J’s gold.
The Nike SB Dunk Low Pro Ben & Jerry’s releases May 23 at select skate shops globally and May 26 on SNKRS and SNEAKRS. To look up the Nike SB store finder, click here.

May 15, 2020 - The Nike Mercurial Superfly CR7 Safari celebrates the 10th anniversary of Cristiano Ronaldo’s first Player Edition boot, the Safari Print Mercurial Vapor Superfly II.
Safari print, introduced on the 1987 Air Safari designed by Tinker Hatfield, debuted on performance football footwear with Ronaldo’s boot in November 2010. The look quickly became an on-pitch classic — its design employed in a unique way and overlaid with a tonal reflective and non-reflective chevron pattern that illuminated in certain light.
The Nike Mercurial Superfly CR7 Safari mirrors the Safari Print Mercurial Vapor Superfly II, but the new edition also incorporates CR7’s famous celebration stance, signature and logo on the sockliner. A special pigment on the Elite style distinctively highlights the chevron pattern of the Mercurial Superfly. A kids' edition of the boot keeps the traditional Safari color scheme of white, black and orange.
The Nike Mercurial Superfly CR7 Safari launches in China May 15 in kids' sizes. Helping celebrate Cristiano Ronaldo Jr.’s 10th birthday, the kids boot and limited quantities of the Nike Mercurial Superfly Elite FG CR7 Safari adult version release globally June 17, along with an exclusive kids apparel collection.
May 15, 2020 - Call it a retro reprise with a twist. The Nike Air Max Greedy 2.0 takes the principles of the 2015 original — mashing up classic colorways — and shifts the base from black to white. The Greedy 2.0's mix of iconic and niche makeups draw from versions initially released in 1995, 1998, 2003 and beyond. As the shoe arrives at the silhouette's 25th birthday, this breadth reminds of the Air Max 95's original impact, as well as its unbreakable stylistic validity.
The Greedy 2.0 releases this spring on nike.com and the Nike App.

May 13, 2020 - A year ago, Converse launched Renew to find solutions for post-consumer and post-industrial waste by using upcycled textiles and recycled cotton canvas blends. This summer’s colorful Renew capsule highlights Converse’s proprietary recycled cotton canvas process, using discarded cotton canvas scraps from the footwear manufacturing process to create new sneakers.
Created with a blend of 80% virgin cotton and 20% recycled cotton, the tri-panel execution on the Chuck 70 takes cues from earthy tones like prairie sand, branded melon, noble gray and mellow rose. A monotone egret variation uses an undyed yarn blend to form the fabric for the shoe’s canvas upper (It incorporates 30% egret and white recycled cotton canvas scraps with 30% recycled PET and 40% virgin cotton).
Presented in faded, color-blocked designs in Hi and Ox cuts, the Renew Tri-Panel Chuck 70 collection will be available May 15 on converse.com.
