August 17, 2017 - Inspired by the 15th anniversary of one of golf’s most anticipated women’s team tournaments, Nike athlete Michelle Wie will wear this Nike FI Flex PE, embellished with Swarovski crystals, during competition this week. Nike worked with Swarovski, the global leader in precision cut crystal, to create these one-of-a-kind shoes. A pair of the Nike FI Flex PE for Michelle Wie, in women’s size 9.5, has approximately 874 Swarovski crystals total on the uppers, which were hand-applied by a crystal expert.
The colorway for the shoes was inspired by the team that Wie will compete for this week. Her nickname, Wiezy, also appears on the FI Flex.

June 29, 2020 - The Jordan Brand Fall 2020 collection brings fresh design approaches to retro looks. Four iterations of the Air Jordan I and three women's-exclusive styles lead the latest from the Jumpman.
WOMEN’S AIR JORDAN I HI OG
An alternate twist on Jordan Brand’s 2019 Satin Black Toe colorway, this women’s-exclusive model employs a mix of satin, faux snakeskin and leather in timeless black and red color-blocking.
AIR JORDAN I RETRO HI OG CO.JP
Only available in Japan when first released in 2001, the Air Jordan I HI OG CO.JP returns in 2020 for a global launch. Metallic silver dominates the upper and is complemented by a silver Jumpman hangtag and special CO.JP sockliners. In Japan only, this iteration of the Air Jordan I will be sold in exclusive silver suitcases numbered 1 through 2,020.
AIR JORDAN I HI OG
Inspired by Japan’s fast-paced capital city, this Air Jordan I HI OG blends modern coloring with classic craftsmanship.
AIR JORDAN I RETRO HI OG
The fall 2020 edition of the Air Jordan I HI OG honors Jordan Brand’s heritage by using familiar colors in a new way: A white toe box is contrasted by gray and red leather overlays and a black Swoosh for a classic look.
WOMEN’S AIR JORDAN III RETRO
This women’s-exclusive Air Jordan III Retro has a white tumbled leather upper with hits of Laser Orange throughout the sockliner, eyelets and midsole. Incorporating iconic elephant print on the toe and heel, this iteration is completed by a Laser Orange Jumpman “Air” hangtag.
AIR JORDAN III
With an OG genuine leather upper, this Air Jordan III uses a raw denim-finished elephant print inspired by Japan on the heel, toe and eyestay. The model features a translucent Nike Air and Jumpman heel tabs and comes in special denim elephant-print packaging. An exclusive Japan-only model will include Japanese Nike Air branding on the heel tab.
AIR JORDAN V RETRO
Continuing the celebration of the Air Jordan V 30th anniversary, the fall 2020 iteration is dressed in an all-green premium suede upper with pops of yellow and a black reflective tongue. The model also includes the OG lace lock and translucent outsole and is completed by a woven jock tag on the heel.
WOMEN’S AIR JORDAN VI RETRO
Another women’s-exclusive model, this Air Jordan VI Retro employs a mixture of colors and materials, including transparent TPU on the midsole and pull tab, gray rubber on the tongue, black suede on the toe and vamp and a metallic Jumpman hangtag. Inspirational messages printed on the sockliner include “Be Kind,” “Embrace Uniqueness” and “Spread Love.”
AIR JORDAN XII RETRO
True to the OG, this Air Jordan XII has a genuine leather upper and the OG lizard pattern on the mudguard. The shoe, like the original, employs matte-finished metal eyelets, a translucent outsole with a carbon fiber shank plate and OG packaging.
AIR JORDAN XII RETRO
A second colorway spins the retro silhouette with a dyed indigo blue genuine leather upper, while the mudgaurd has the OG lizard pattern. The shoe features matte-finished metal eyelets with a carbon fiber shank plate and OG packaging.
AIR JORDAN XIII RETRO
This take on the Air Jordan XIII sits an OG genuine leather upper atop the iconic panther paw-like outsole. With a familiar holographic eye, carbon fiber shank plate and fresh reflective silver piping on the upper, this retro take comes complete with OG packaging.
AIR JORDAN XIV RETRO
With a fresh color scheme on the OG Air Jordan XIV model, this edition uses genuine leather for the upper and has a gloss-finished midsole, carbon fiber shank plate and OG packaging.

June 25, 2020 - What are the core characteristics of the ultimate summer hiker? This question lies at the heart of the Nike ACG Air Zoom AO, an amphibious go-anywhere shoe new for 2020. Consideration of adaptability, drainage, grip and more yield a composite design that takes inspiration from past Nike cult favorites and new performance solutions.
For example, laces are concealed in a system similar to the Nike Phantom VNM football boot (here, the adapted covering helps to reduce snags on the trail rather than assist a clean ball strike). The sole unit takes lessons from the Nike Kukini 2003, and all its water-draining glory, and the Nike SFB Jungle boot for walking in creeks without getting water logged. Sticky rubber aids traction, and a hard rubber toe increases durability. Responsive cushioning comes via a Zoom Air unit in the heel. Quick-pull lacing and a bootie construction also support the amphibious functionality of the Nike ACG Air Zoom AO.
It’s a fitting build for a shoe named after the Japanese word for the colors blue and green, representative equally of land and ocean.
The Nike ACG Air Zoom AO beings its release July 9 on nike.com.

June 22, 2020 - For 2020, Nike Basketball is evolving the brand’s industry-leading work to improve energy return through footwear innovation. Ross Klein, Senior Creative Director for Nike Basketball footwear, led a team on a mission to evolve Nike Air — our most efficient cushioning platform for energy return — and create the Nike Air Zoom BB NXT.
"The game and the athletes have evolved in this new era of basketball," says Klein. "We now have athletes that are 'positionless' and generate the values of all positions on court. Within the NBA alone these positionless athletes face a grueling journey, starting with the offseason training, then preseason, and into the 82-game season, playoffs, Finals. Fatigue is the enemy and endurance is the goal."
Staying fresh at the game’s critical, closing moments is key. With that in mind, the Nike Air Zoom BB NXT introduces a unified system of full-length Nike REACT foam, plate and Nike Air Zoom pods to provide basketball players at all levels with impact protection and energy return.
"The shoe is similar to a car," says Klein. "There are many parts and pieces, each doing a very specific job, but working in unison."
The shoe’s three leading performance-driven benefits are outstanding energy return, optimized cushioning and strength. Specific innovations include:
- Exposed Nike React foam under the heel provides a soft, responsive sensation
- A thin plate positioned above the foam provides torsional rigidity
- Two Air Zoom units positioned under the ball of the foot continually absorb an athlete’s energy and provide great responsiveness
- The upper is a lightweight mesh with a tactile, textured print that provides support and durability where athletes need it
- A plush foam tongue and padded collar with a notch to support the Achilles tendon provides a comfortable fit
Updated 9:00 AM PST, June 22:
The Nike Air Zoom BB NXT releases in the black and green ‘Dangerous’ colorway July 2 in Greater China and July 25 in North America. The white ‘Rawthentic’ colorway releases in North America in September.

June 17, 2020 - Converse’s performance basketball silhouettes, the All Star Pro BB and G4, are given a summer-ready refresh with the Solstice Collection. The G4 comes in two low top expressions: Amethyst Grey and Photon Dust, symbolizing daytime play, and all-over black, with a hit of solar red on the ankle reflecting play at night. The All Star Pro BB comes in low and mid-top versions, both featuring unique blocking highlighted by use of University Blue.
The Converse Solstice collection is now available at converse.com/basketball.
June 09, 2020 - Space Hippie, Nike’s exploratory footwear collection constructed with “space junk” — transformed factory and post-consumer waste — marries sustainable practices and radical design. Each of the four Space Hippie silhouettes provide a unique aesthetic and fit — including traditional laces and laceless designs. The manufacturing, which employs about 85 to 90 percent recycled polyester Space Waste Yarn, recycled Nike ZoomX foam and Crater Foam (a blend of standard Nike foams and Nike Grind Rubber), results in a radical design with a low carbon footprint.
Updated 12:15 PM PST, June 9:
Space Hippie 01, 02, 03 and 04 launch June 11 on SNKRS and SNEAKERS apps, select Nike doors and retailers. In North America, Space Hippie 01, 02, 03 and 04 release July 3.

May 22, 2020 - With the Nike x Travis Scott Air Max 270 “Cactus Trails,” design allows for imaginative time travel. A ’90s attitude come through in trail tans and ACG color pops and gives the shoe a vintage appeal, while the well-worn look conveys a back-from-the-future sensibility.
The color schemes also connect to Scott’s own affinity for vintage apparel. Material selection, including a polar fleece collar, further relays an outdoor connection, while oxidation of the upper, midsole and Air unit, achieved through a tint Sulphur dye, helps celebrate the beauty of a well-loved object’s patina. Additional details include a custom tongue-tab, lace-lock and an extra Swoosh on the toe.
The Nike x Travis Scott Air Max 270 “Cactus Trails” releases May 29 in adult, preschool and toddler versions. The latter two introduce a unique take on the design, complete with reverse Swoosh, just for kids, a first in Nike x Travis Scott collaborations.
Additionally, an apparel collection including a hoodie, sweatpants and T-shirt extend Scott’s interest in uniting sportswear comfort with utilitarian multi-pocket function. Download hi-res images here.

May 21, 2020 - Integrating a brush-off leather upper, the Air Force 1 PRM and Air Max 90 PRM are inspired by fanatics who root for their favorite clubs from anywhere. Team colors transform from home to away (and vice versa) based upon the unique wear patterns of the wearer.
Both silhouettes come in three colors and incorporate compasses on the tongues and hang tags. Jewel Swooshes are featured too; the pack marks the second time that an Air Max 90 has had one (they first appeared in the BSMNT Air Max 90 FA19 City Pack).
The Air Force 1 PRM and Air Max 90 PRM release June 6 on nike.com, the Nike App and select retailers.

May 21, 2020 - Expanding the Converse Renew program, the Converse x Carhartt WIP Renew Chuck 70 uses single-source upcycled textiles from the famed work garment brand.
One thousand pre-owned canvas Carhartt work jackets, trousers and overalls, sourced from UK–based fashion and vintage retailer, Beyond Retro, were sorted into three color ranges and then cut to create individual Chuck 70 shoe panels.
The tri-panel execution on each pair highlights stitching details characteristic of the Carhartt WIP brand. Including the Converse x Carhartt WIP Renew Chuck 70, the Converse Renew program has diverted more than 108,000 textile items from landfills.
The collection will be available in limited quantities at converse.com, carhartt-wip.com and select retailers May 28.
