Nike FI Flex Swarovski PE
August 17, 2017 - Inspired by the 15th anniversary of one of golf’s most anticipated women’s team tournaments, Nike athlete Michelle Wie will wear this Nike FI Flex PE, embellished with Swarovski crystals, during competition this week. Nike worked with Swarovski, the global leader in precision cut crystal, to create these one-of-a-kind shoes. A pair of the Nike FI Flex PE for Michelle Wie, in women’s size 9.5, has approximately 874 Swarovski crystals total on the uppers, which were hand-applied by a crystal expert.
The colorway for the shoes was inspired by the team that Wie will compete for this week. Her nickname, Wiezy, also appears on the FI Flex.
New Colorways Of The 1 Reimagined Collection
April 06, 2018 - Today, the second go-around of The 1 Reimagined collection releases in Light Blue, Luminous Green, Geode Teal, Cinder Orange and Violet Mist flooded colorways.
Chiyo Takahashi, Nike Senior Color Design Director and one of 14 women who worked on the collection, explains how and why designers landed on these five colors.
When it came to designing the color collection, our initial ideas were to create different color palettes for each archetype. But halfway through our process, we shifted our aim to bring the collection together with a simple but bold palette.
We were interested in colors that created moods on their own and had an exciting synergy when together. Limiting to five bold colors instead of 10 made the collection more symbiotic. They became the glue for the relationship that binds the collection.
We landed on Light Blue, which is calm and soothing; Luminous Green, which is optimistic and progressive; Geode Teal, which is grounded and bold; Cinder Orange, which is warm and spicy; and Violet Mist, which is light and ethereal.
Each of these colors is quite expressive and unique on their own, but we really loved how fresh and playful the shoes became when all the colors came together. In a way, this symbolized what this collection was about: individual designers coming together to contribute, but it’s the power of the collective that really makes it special.
The new colorways of the 1 Reimagined collection are available today on Nike Unlaced and the SNKRS app.
Nike Epic React Flyknit
March 30, 2018 - New Nike Epic React Flyknit colorways, including Pink Matcha (pink and green versions for women and men), an off-white Alloy (for women) and Horizon (glowing red for women and a dark gray for men) release this spring on nike.com and at select retailers.
Converse Chuck 70 Heritage Court
March 30, 2018 - Introduced in 2013, the Chuck 70 is built off the original 1970’s design for the Chuck Taylor All Star with a deliberate nuance and attention to detail. Since its debut, the Chuck 70 has become a choice silhouette for designer collaborations — featuring in projects with the likes of Rei Kawakubo, Missoni, Jonathan Anderson and Virgil Abloh.
This spring, the shoe is celebrated in its full sporting glory with the Converse Chuck 70 Heritage Court collection. Winged tongue stitching, 35mm rubber taping, 12oz canvas and a distinct “Chuck Taylor All Star” license plate deliver vintage vibes, which are augmented by a refreshed color palette and tricolor blocking on the mid-sole pinstripe.
The Converse Chuck 70 Heritage Court collection is available on converse.com and at select retailers.
The NikeCourt Fresh Pack
March 27, 2018 - In bright color schemes inspired by the vibrant style of 90’s tennis, the NikeCourt Fresh pack includes the Air Zoom Vapor X (shown first), the Air Zoom Cage 3 (shown second) and Air Zoom Ultra React (shown third).
NikeCourt athletes, including Simona Halep who's currently ranked world number one, will wear these throughout the European clay season until competition in Paris at the end of May.
“On clay, it’s important that the sole of the shoe lets you slide but isn’t slippery,” says Simona, who wears the NikeCourt Vapor X. All three shoes feature a modified herringbone pattern on the outsole that provides excellent traction on clay surfaces, while Air Zoom units offer cushioning for longer rallies typically seen on those courts. And for fun, black speckles on the upper represent clay splatter.
The NikeCourt Air Zoom Ultra React, Air Zoom Cage 3 and Air Zoom Vapor X will be available in women's colorways (shown) and men's colorways April 3 on nike.com and at select retailers.

KOBE AD NXT 360
March 21, 2018 - Debuted tonight on DeMar DeRozan, the KOBE AD NXT 360 features a next generation Nike Flyknit upper that wraps the foot with 360-degree construction for a secure, second-skin fit. The shoe is equipped with a dual-density drop-in foam midsole made of Nike React technology and Lunarlon to maximize cushioning and response.
Nike Free x Metcon
The TPU-faced open mesh through the vamp is similar to chain mesh, so it’s light and breathable but also durable. The toe clip offers protection on the medial side during burpees, while the heel clip helps minimize drag during wall exercises such as handstand pushups. The triangle mid-foot rubber wrap and provides stability.
Laser-siped flex grooves in the forefoot maximize natural motion and forefoot flexibility for running and jumping, while minimal siping in the heel creates a stable platform for lifting.
The black core that pops out through the tri-stars at the bottom is a softer-density foam that provides cushion underfoot, while the outer shell is a firmer-density foam that doesn't compromise stability during lateral moves. Small laser dots on the outsole provide grip.
The Nike Free x Metcon training shoe will be available in men’s sizes on April 1 globally.
Converse Birth of Michael Jordan Pro Leather
March 09, 2018 - In celebration of the 35th anniversary of Michael Jordan’s NCAA title, and in recognition of the University of North Carolina’s 2017 championship, Tinker Hatfield and Dan Sunwoo have created a limited, friends and family edition of the Converse Pro Leather.
The shoe, which was worn by Jordan in the ’82 tournament, features a Jumpman rather than the customary Star Chevron. “MJ was wearing the Converse Pro Leather in the 1982 Championship. He is often quoted as saying he felt he became Michael Jordan in that moment,” explains Hatfield. “To signify the birth of MJ, I had the Converse logo fade out and the Jumpman appear.”
The left heel pays homage to the Tar Heels’ 1982 uniform short, while the right references the 2017 championship team’s version of the now traditional UNC argyle pattern.
The Converse Birth of Michael Jordan Pro Leather will be presented to the current UNC team, as well as friends and family of the program and Jordan Brand.
Air Jordan III Seoul
February 28, 2018 - Created by Tinker Hatfield and Dan Sunwoo as a special project in Nike’s Innovation Kitchen, the Air Jordan III Seoul commemorates the 30-year anniversary of the city’s hosting of summer games and the moment Michael Jordan won the 1988 Slam Dunk Contest.
“I grew up a sneakerhead in Seoul and I wanted to create a shoe that pays homage to the creative energy of the city. Now is the perfect time, building on the momentum of the winter games and the love Korean consumers have for Jordan Brand,” says Sunwoo.
The Taegukgi (Korean flag) inspires the shoe’s overall color scheme, with the “taeguk” symbol expressed through the lining and collar’s blue and red and the white upper representing peace and purity (as it does on the flag). 서울 (Seoul) is featured on the left inner tongue, while the 1988 summer games motto 화합과 전진 (Harmony and Progress) is featured on the right inner tongue. The heel reads “Nike Air” in a clear nod to the original Air Jordan III.
The AJIII Seoul will go on sale March 10 on nike.com.kr and at the Jordan Hongdae store.
