Air Jordan III Seoul
February 28, 2018 - Created by Tinker Hatfield and Dan Sunwoo as a special project in Nike’s Innovation Kitchen, the Air Jordan III Seoul commemorates the 30-year anniversary of the city’s hosting of summer games and the moment Michael Jordan won the 1988 Slam Dunk Contest.
“I grew up a sneakerhead in Seoul and I wanted to create a shoe that pays homage to the creative energy of the city. Now is the perfect time, building on the momentum of the winter games and the love Korean consumers have for Jordan Brand,” says Sunwoo.
The Taegukgi (Korean flag) inspires the shoe’s overall color scheme, with the “taeguk” symbol expressed through the lining and collar’s blue and red and the white upper representing peace and purity (as it does on the flag). 서울 (Seoul) is featured on the left inner tongue, while the 1988 summer games motto 화합과 전진 (Harmony and Progress) is featured on the right inner tongue. The heel reads “Nike Air” in a clear nod to the original Air Jordan III.
The AJIII Seoul will go on sale March 10 on nike.com.kr and at the Jordan Hongdae store.

Nike PSNY AF1
August 16, 2018 - Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne are no strangers to fusing seemingly disparate elements of street and high fashion. Their brand, the award-winning Public School, is predicated on the energy of their hometown, New York City, and its style diversity. Born from this environment, the duo's interpretation of fashion includes recognizing a few tried-and true-standards, like Nike's 1982 classic, the Air Force One.
To celebrate the 35th anniversary of the AF1 last year, Chow and Osborne created an all-new high version of the shoe by deconstructing low, mid and high models and using the unaltered pattern parts to reconstruct their own vision of the icon. That shoe, the PSNY AF1, will launch in three colorways (black, white and grey) at PSNY's pop-up space on 3 Howard Street, New York, on September 4. A global release follows on September 5.
Nike La Cortez x Maria Sharapova
August 16, 2018 - Last spring, Nike worked with Maria Sharapova to create the La Cortez, her take on the classic silhouette inspired by the city of Los Angeles. The second iteration of the La Cortez comes to life this fall as Sharapova prepares for Flushing Meadows, finding inspiration from the beauty of New York City in autumn as leaves morph from green to the earthy hues found across the shoe. Soft satin laces complement the leather upper, and Sharapova's signature lollypop icon is etched on the back heel cuff.
The Nike La Cortez x Maria Sharapova releases August 22 at Bandier only, and August 23 on nike.com and at Nordstrom x Nike sneaker boutiques.
Nike Rise React Flyknit
August 15, 2018 - The Nike Rise React Flyknit combines the best qualities of its namesake properties: the lightweight support of Flyknit and the responsive comfort of Nike React foam.
The laceless Flyknit upper conforms to the foot in a contoured, reductive design.
The Nike Rise React Flyknit releases September 1 on nike.com and at select Nike retailers.
Air Jordan I Hi OG NRG
August 14, 2018 - The Air Jordan I Hi OG NRG colorway takes inspiration from professional BMX rider and Nike, Inc. family member, Nigel Sylvester. Serving as his go-to riding shoe, Nigel’s AJ1s are often seen with heavy distress marks created during the trial and error part of mastering tricks.
This pair mimics those marks with distressing done by hand on a discolored Sail, white, Varsity Red and Muslin colorway. For the medial Swoosh, a reflective material is employed to provide a flashing effect while night riding. Within the inner collar of the shoe is the designation "Jordan Biking Co., Est. 2017," which signifies the year the project was kicked off. Finally, the heel exhibits scuff marks reminiscent of the abrasions on Nigel’s old AJ1s.
In addition to those elements, the shoe features a mini Swoosh on the lateral toe box and a deconstructed lateral Swoosh and Wings logos.
The shoe releases September 1.
