We Run Zagreb Facebook app
Nike We Run Zargeb
Croatian athletes can set their personal goals with re-engineered Nike+ Running apps and services.
On September 29, thousands of Croatian runners will line up to participate in Nike's We Run Zagreb 7.5K race -- and Nike has created a new Facebook app to help supercharge their training and motivation in the lead-up to the big day.
The Facebook app allows runners to register for the event and personalize their bib by placing a statement about the goal they plan to tackle on race day, whether it's achieving your personal best or completing your first 5K.
We Run Zagreb is much more than a one-day race. Nike has created a fully integrated training and competition experience that engages runners from the moment they register through race day and beyond.
Runners can keep track of their progress or get a personal training program with re-engineered Nike+ Running apps and communities that now connect approximately 7 million members. To add a social element to the training experience, runners can attend live training sessions with professional coaches through the Nike Running Club. Sessions are held every Tuesday (Maximir) and Thursday (Jarun Lake) at 7 p.m. Runners can also test-drive the latest release of the LunarGlide 4+ and learn about the Nike+ Running ecosystem.
Some of the first runners registered for We Run Zagreb are the members of five teams that completed the We Run the Coast Run mission, a relay race along the Croatian coast. The teams completed the run in 41 days and logged 1,690 kilometers on Nike+.
We Run Zagreb registration is open on Nike Running Croatia's Facebook page and on www.werun.hr.
