LeBron James arrived in Shanghai on Aug. 23 to help kick off the second Nike+ Festival of Sport 2012 at the Shanghai Stadium. The free, four-day festival is aimed at increasing participation in sports in China, and gives attendees an opportunity to play a variety of sports and see world-class athletes in action. Featured sports include basketball, football (soccer), running, action sports, American football, ping pong, badminton, tennis, and NIKE+ competitions. LeBron joined Yi Jianlian, Amar'e Stoudemire, Rudy Gay and Paul George to fire up the basketball crowds. The superstars mingled with fans and attended a few events, and LeBron gave away 10 pairs of LEBRON X sneakers. Other athletes from across the sports spectrum are also attending the festival including skateboarders Eric Koston, Omar Salazar, Stefan Janoski and Theotis Beasley.
