The timing couldn't have been worse. The night before his first AAU championship game, a young Kyrie Irving knocked his head on the floor of a hotel pool. His game status for the next day was in doubt. A few stitches later, Irving took the court with a head bandage. Kyrie led his team to victory despite the injury. With a unique bandage graphic, the kids-only KYRIE 3 "Badge of Honor" pays tribute to the hard knocks all young athletes collect on the road to victory. The shoe is available beginning today, May 19.

The first iteration of the Nike Komyuter, the ACG.07.KMTR, silhouette's function guides its stance. The upper transforms from its loose, open state into a sleek, fast silhouette that marries gracefully to a full-rubber bottom with wet traction lugs (derived from the tooling of the Nike Tallac Flyknit ACG). Compositionally, this build simultaneously conveys comfort in speed and a readiness to take on anything. Reflective hits on the logo and welding seams help ensure the all-day, all-challenges equipment is balanced with requisite safety features.
The ACG.07.KMTR launches May 18 on NikeLab.com and at NikeLab retail locations.

Originally inspired by the foldable design of a paper bag, the first Nike City Knife shoe, released in 2002, had similarly foldable creases for flattened packability. Before it came the Pocket Knife, from 1998, a collapsible ACG shoe embraced by outdoor athletes.
Today, the new NikeLab City Knife 3 Flyknit draws from the versatility of both models, providing a breathable, sock-like fit through a one-piece, 360 Flyknit upper that's encapsulated in a translucent rubber outsole (sharp lines on the outsole reference the geometry of the original). A rubber strap keeps the foot locked down. The shoe's minimal design — made of only five pieces without any stitching — enables it to flatten easily.
The NikeLab City Knife 3 Flyknit is available May 11, in women's sizing, on Nike+, nike.com/nikelab and at select retailers. It comes with a special travel bag.

This KYRIE 3 PE and its lightning graphic take inspiration from one of Kyrie Irving's favorite musicals, also a film, and its lead character, Danny Zuko's, car. Irving's interest in theater began as a kid (while performing in school productions) and continues today.
