Cole Haan Tri-Material Jayhawker Wingtip

A new debut, exclusively available at Cole Haan SoHo in seven tri-material variations.

On Thursday, November 10th, Cole Haan released seven tri-material variations of its Fall '11 men’s Jayhawker Wingtip.

Available in neutral colors such as tobacco, grey and black along with bold alternatives of amazon green, chili pepper and peacoat blue, these special edition styles will be exclusively available at the Cole Haan store in SoHo, NYC.

In addition to the release of the tri-material Jayhawker, Cole Haan will introduce a collection of Air Monroe Penny Loafers in hand-painted leathers, as well as the Henrik Boot, which features a mix of suede and calf leather. Both the Air Monroe Penny and the Henrik Boot will be available in the same color offerings as the Jayhawker Wingtip.

Beginning Thursday, November 10th, the SoHo-exclusive Jayhawker Wingtip ($278), Air Monroe Penny ($228) and Henrik Boot ($348) will be available at Cole Haan SoHo, 128 Prince Street, NYC, 212.219.8240.

About the Jayhawker

The Cole Haan Jayhawker is a bold, timeless gentlemen’s wingtip characterized by its oversized storm welt, heavy stitching and thick leather outsole. Intricate pinking and perforations and a modern tri-material mix of canvas, suede and leather characterize the shoe's upper. At its core, a genuine Goodyear welt construction enhances its overall resilience and durability.

Embracing the spirit of tradition, the Jayhawker upper features a toe medallion brogue detail inspired by the Trafton Wingtip, Cole Haan's iconic wingtip named after the brand's co-founder, Trafton Cole. Leather piping at the collar, waxed cotton laces and frayed canvas edges on the upper further comprise the Jayhawker's distinctive design.

The Jayhawker's all-leather outsole also includes a shaved inner heel edge known as a "Gentleman's Corner," a signature cobbling technique that prevents pant cuffs from catching the heel. Concealed Nike Air technology in the heel fuses craftsmanship and innovation, while enhancing comfort.
